Hai...

i've too many a paper cut
from
too many a paper death.

Tuesday, November 16, 2004

even silence screams sometimes

a voice.
that's all i've ever wanted to be.
echos of that voice gave me strength.
gave me hope.
gave me calm.
gave me life.
gave me love.
gave me freedom.
the only freedom that's truly free.
the only freedom i've ever really desired.

i already feel my voice being muffled.
stifled.
suffocated.
i recall red prints in the snow.
the smudgy black print of a paper.
what's black and red all over?
death to the only thing i've ever known to be real.

Wake up!

I had a weird dream last night. It wasn't exactly a feel good one.

Was my mind so focused on something subconsiously in reality that it's revealing itself in another way? and am i just plain ignoring it because it's simply not good for my health?

Why are there some strange ppl who can charm u and influence u in a gradual sort of way?

i am alive.....but kicking?

Haven't exactly been blogging for aeons...funny how nat called me up to ask whether i was still alive...well...someone bothered at least...
i finished the bulk of my work last weds...and started to dig into my kind of life...laid back and appreciating the rest that is gradually paying off the sleep debt i had accumulated for the past couple of weeks when...like some peeps put it...Everything takes longer than u think...the pressures of the 2 remaining tua zhong presentation started to kick in...
Well, shan't rant too much on tt since times are still much better. Life's pretty much my own pace and i get to meet up with friends during the wkends...not bad at all...
Recently, i went on this paparazzi-ing to snap exclusives of these gurkhas hunks guarding the mint. Only to be caught and send to the police station for some questioning. Kaoz...everything sounds damn cool but u wun wana see my expression when a spf vehicle drew up beside me at the sentry post, followed by a someone saying,
"Sir, we would require your cooperation in our investigations."
I mean...well done man. Well, at least i got to sit beside the driver which was quite a thrill and for those who are all so concerned...no...i wasn't handcuffed. :p Crapped ard with the constables at the station and being the nice chaps they were, suggested i might get good footage of these nepalese police officers at the istana so off i went to the istana after i was released. But alas, they weren't on duty but i managed to chat with some of the officers on duty abt them...overdose of men in blue on that day...
Goodluck concert was a virgin display of our sheares choir's prowess. We were pretty entertaining with the 1st song - the lion sleeps tonite, with adi commanding his holy presence and aaron winning the crowd with his cute littl' barking noises. Serious and solemn with the 2nd - the music's always there with u. Cool, im starting to enjoy choiring...
I just read up on some Murphy's Military Laws which are quite interesting lar...
Check out these excerpts:
There is nothing more satisfying that having someone take a shot at you, and miss.
The only thing more accurate than incoming enemy fire is incoming friendly fire.
Never share a foxhole with anyone braver than you are.
I wonder if anyone share my sense of humor.
